A study to test a new drug that is being developed to treat Asthma and allergic Rhinitis.
Therapeutic Indications: The study is designed to examine the safety and tolerability of the formulation orally administered to healthy male subjects in a single and a multiple dose.
Administration: Oral
Number of volunteers needed: Part A: two groups of 10 volunteers (August 2010 & October 2010 start)
Part B: three groups of 8 volunteers (October 2010 & January 2011)
Part C: one group of 8 volunteers (November 2010)
Volunteer Profile: Healthy male volunteers aged between 18 and 55 with a BMI between 18 and 30. The volunteers must be non-smokers (for at least 6 months).Volunteers should not be currently suffering from asthma or allergic rhinitis and not on any treatment.

Phases |
Part A: 5 phases, each with a 3 day/3 night stay
Part B: 1 phase of 9 days and 9 nights stay
Part C: 2 phases, each with a 3 day/3 night stay

Approximately 1 week after completion. |
Generous inconvenience fee for this clinical trial: Part A: £2850 (+ agreed travel costs)
Part B: £1800 (+ agreed travel costs)
